posting high quality pics on the forum

I know this was here before the site crash, how do i post nice high quality pics on the forum. Or at least a simple way to size my massive pics down. Right now the only way to i know how to do this is to out the pics on my iphone, then email them to myself and that gives the option to size them down. any other ideas would be a great help.
