Lowrance Hook 4x DSI

Tell me about the Lowarance Hook 4x DSI... the good, the bad and the ugly. I fish <40' deep and want it primarily for finding hard/rocky patches of structure scattered in the muck bottom. I'd also use it, to a lessor degree, to locate and follow outside weed edges. Thanks

Do you have any experience with side imaging? I don't have the unit you are inquiring about but I do have a gen1 HDS8 with structure scan unit. I found the structure scan side scan to be invaluable in locating rock reefs on West Okoboji. Works well to keep the boat on the deep weed line too. BTW how is the season progressing up there? It's been a awfully warm spring and I fear my mid May trip may miss the large mouth pre spawn.
