Lowrance HDS Gen 2 or Gen 2 Touch

Going to be upgrading electronics in the near future and looking at the Lowrance HDS Gen @ and Touch model. Anyone have any good and bad with them. I like the fact that the Touch model has the structure scan built in but the clarity is better on the Hds Gen2. Also wonder about the touch screen in the winter time. Courious as to why on most of the pro boats that they run the HDS GEN2 and not the Touch models
