Boca or not?

Hi guys,

The bearing on the right is a Boca ABEC 7 OS I got from nitroman77. The one on the left came with a DC7 I purchased on ebay. The reel also came with carbontex washers. The seller doesn't know anything about them since he never opened the reel since it was purchased from Japan.

Did any of you encounter a non Boca bearing that looks exactly like the one on the right? Right now I'm just assuming that the one on the left is a Boca OS, but have no idea how to confirm it.

Does Boca carry the same bearing on an Abec 5 or 3 rating?

I'll have to check it later, though I highly doubt if there are. They looked the same to me.

Nitroman77 I can make out under low magnification SMR103C and just below it P58A71D, on the outer peripheral of the bearings which are Boca OS hybrid abec7 3x10x4.

It has something like SI03C and also below it is P58 A71D. Though I am not sure if the "I"s are 1s or vice versa. It looks similar to the numbers lpquick posted. I'm more positive that they are Boca OS now.

If its got the SMR103c they are Bocas..

Ok, so I double checked the bearings I got from you, and they have the same markings. It also has S103C P58 A7 1D labeled on its side. So I'm pretty confident now that they are indeed Bocas.
