Daiwa spool bearing sizes..

Post by PaBass75 » Tue Apr 12, 2011 8:19 am

Before the crash, there was a lot of info on this board regarding spool bearing sizes..
Since it's lost now, I was hoping with a little help. we could rebuild the lost data. :D

I'm most familiar with Daiwa..
Maybe someone with some experience with Pflueger, Abu, Shimano, ect can chime in and help fill the gaps?

Anyone know the bearing size for the one under the cast control knob on the Sol? I bought a "mechanically 100%" Sol on ebay from someone who had obviously used it in saltwater. I would've returned it if not for the low price I paid.

Found the bearing dimensions from checking the Daiwa Alphas listing on Boca's website. It's 5x8x2.5 which is identical to the ones in the Revo Premier knobs. I swapped one in to test and it did help, but I obviously need to replace at least one or more bearings because the reel is still a little rough.
