Small Outboards

I am looking to purchase a small outboard. Probably around
2 to 3 HP. Any recommendations on what is good?
What features are useful? reliable? etc?

It will be attached to my canoe and must be a 4stroker.

Go with the HONDA.
I liked the honda outboards, easy to maintain and always starts.
