Post by teamdaiwa5 » Sun Sep 30, 2007 4:44 pm

I called about a boat this afternoon and was told it runs well, but the carberators had to be synchronized. I haven't heard of this, whats the deal??

carbs out of sync could cause a rough idle, but so could other things. Syncing the carbs is to adjust so that each carb sees the same vacuum level so they each distribute fuel equally. They each feed a cylinder seperately instead of using an intake manifold. If you arent able to do the work yourself Id say stay away. Use google to fugure out carb syncing.
