Life exectancy of Bilge pumps

The bilge pump in my boat is 11 years old. It still works and does not leak but I'm wondering how long do the seals in these pumps hold. Anybody know? Thanks. V. R.

The bilge and livewell pumps on my '89 Tracker Pro-V are 18 years old. Neither leaks, still running strong. The boat doesn't seem to have any leaks or take on water, so the only time the bilge pump gets run is when I get caught in the rain or I've been back trolling into the wind. :roll: Gadget
