Cleaning Silicon Molds

Post by skinhead » Sun Dec 09, 2012 6:10 am

Any ideas on the best way to clean RTV Silicon molds? Mine have a few smears of polyester resin on them. Do you think acetone would work? Someone recommended nail varnish remover, but I'm not too sure.

Nail varnish remover is similar to acetone, but is more dilluted.
If you use that with a brush it should (teoretically) not distroy the silicone mold.
