Swimbait hair jigs...

I haven't had the chance to test these babies out yet, but I'm feeling a little creative. I'm thinking maybe finesse swimbaits...?

Beautiful baits. I have always wanted to break down and buy some of those good old smallmouth hair jigs I read about many years ago used by Billy on Dale Hollow. These kind of look like modern versions and more evolved versions of those more primitive jigs.

So I got to go out for a little today. I wanted to test out my new big jigs. I went to Caney Fork River, a CRYSTAL clear wateway known for its excellent trout fishing and monster stripers that feed on them. Well no one caught any stripers, but I did manage a dinky 14 inch bass on one of my 8 inch long jigs!! It was like swimbait fishing, but with my pixy

Pretty realistic looking in the water. More like flyfishing
