Nice work! And I agree with Reservoir about keeping it simple- also keeps it lighter. Minimalist is the way to go!
Why is there a concerted effort of hate? And why is it allowed?

Thanks for the compliments. I used the 6’9” last Friday throwing a fluke. It worked really well. It’s a very fast blank with plenty of power, perfect for soft jerkbaits.

Nice work! Thanks for the photos and narrative.

I too have 873 MHX Hi Mod. What started off as a rod for bigger jigs evolved into my frog rod. Paired with an Esxence DC it really shines!
