NFC pricing

When production rods are not enough, it's time to go custom. Come share your experiences building and/or ordering a custom rod and tell us if you'll ever go back to off the shelf.

I have gotten mine built and have spent a little time with them on the water. The guys who were fishing with me all have HM’s that I have built for them and all were in agreement that they are more sensitive and what the HM’s should have been all along. Regardless of the ship times I will be building more for certain! So far I’ve built MB736’s, SJ736’s and an SJ732.

How would you rate the MB736 and the SJ736? I plan on ising the SJ736 for below 1/2oz texas rigs

I think it will be just what you are looking for. The Sj has a faster tip and in my hands all of the ones I have built seem to have more power than the MB’s.

How did you build the SJ 732? Leaning towards spinning on mine, but undecided. It feels a little more powerful than I expected.

I built this one as a BFS casting rod.

How it is?

May build a 7ft or so BFS rod for 1/16oz+trailer jigs, weightless worms, senko...

For the light jigs w trailer it will be perfect! I don’t use Senko as finesse as the 5” weight almost 5/8. For the weightless senko I use a hm mb705 as a caster w 12lb tatsu.
