Custom Revo Elite Aurora inspired build thread

What’s up Tackle Tour,
My names Cameron. I’ve been lurking around these forums for a while. A few years back I started rod building just for fun. I did a couple of spinning rods, baitcaster sand even vententured into refinishing a bamboo fly rod. When I started I stumbled upon the Abu Garcia Revo Elte Aurora reel and knew I eventually would need to add that to my collections! Lucky for me, I FINALLY found one!!
Started routing around and found the American Tackle Hologram guides and picked up a few. My plans are to run a DF 10, DF 8 or 7, then use single foot 6s as the running guides to the top top.
While I waited on a few back ordered guides, glued up the grips and reel seat.
I ended up going with an ALPS split seat and WINN grips.
Sooo this is where I stand as of right now! I’ll post more pictures as I make progress.
