I wanted to recommend Hydra NG rod blanks to all rod builders on this site. I have personally built several rods using these NG blanks. I am blown away by the sensitivity and action that each of the rods possess. I built an SJ 873 that I use for keitech swimbaits and ripping traps from grass. I found this blank to be perfect for ripping lipless cranks from vegetation due to the more moderate-fast taper. These blanks have a very crisp feel to them that I do not feel from rival companies like MHX, NFC or Rainshadow.
