Phenix Maxim Blanks?

Post by MediumHeavy »

Just saw them and some other new Phenix blanks listed on the Get Bit site. Anyone know if the come with the white painted butt and handle end, or are they unpainted?

That can easily be stripped, but the matte clear above that would come off, as well. I had a factory Maxim rod and really liked it, aside from the split reel seat.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I don't mind the portion of white on the blank. I can think of a lot of directions to go with that. It was the rest of the build that I didn't care for. These could be the best budget blanks on the market.
