NFC SWB 808-1 IM

Post by MardukFIN » Sat Jul 15, 2017 2:51 am

Hello.

I've built that lighter SWB earlier and now wanted to build this tougher one. It's definitely BADASS blank! Can cast easily 200-250g lures. It's much stiffer than 5oz version (807), but same weight.
Was little difficult to build, cause butt is over 22mm thick. There isn't much room for grip material. Also there restrictions about reelseat that fits in.. Have to be at least 18mm ID, if handle is less than 45cm.
Colour theme was 'accident', cause i ordered 'blue' EVA, but it wasnt electric blue as i wanted.. So i made it marine blue with silver thread tiger. Spiral wrapped new American Tackle snagless Tornado guides. 12-10-10-10-8-8-8-8-8top.

Take a look!

Nice build, I see you have the spiral wrap on the guides, haven't build one for a while now, I need to start building again.

Nice build. I found a 808 last week that I forgot about, might be time to get wrapped.
