Looking at both the 6'9 and 7'0 medium power blanks I'm a little confused.
691mxf- 440 grams of power, lure rating up to 5/8 oz
701mf- 460 grams of power, lure rating up to 1/2 oz
Is the difference due to the xtra fast rating on the 6'9 model, or should the 7 footer be rated the same?

Re: Another Point Blank question
I think that you're putting way too much stock in the very arbitrary rating system of Fast, ExFast, 5/8 oz, 1/2 oz.
Just look at the numbers. The difference between 440 grams and 460 grams is quite small. Is it the difference between a 5/8 ounce lure rating and a 1/2 ounce lure rating? I don't know. I don't really care. I care that one of them has a little less power than the other. That being said, that's only a 5% difference in power. Full power changes from a company like St. Croix are going to be about a 20% change in power.
The same goes for the action. Look at the numbers, not the arbitrary rating.
