Guides?

Does anyone know what size TYSG guide has and ID of 14mm? I think its a 16 but it might be a 20. Also which weighs less a size 20 TYSG or equivalent size 20 Recoil? Thanks, Andy

51 views and no one knows if Recoils weigh more or less then the TYSG Fuji guides. Also does Fuji spec their the guides by the outside diameter of the insert? For example does a size 20 guide measure approximately 18mm in the inside diameter?

can't help you with the weight cause I don't use Recoils. Fuji guides are sized by the ID of the guide frame.

TYSG25....ID of ring = 18.31mm
TYST16....ID of ring = 10.74mm

ridiculing the viewers who don't have the answer to your question sorta violates board etiquette. chances of someone having the exact guides you are asking for is slim.

with that said, I think I have a 20 recoil...

I believe Fuji sizes to outside of ceramic.

RSPG20 - 1.5g
.548" inside diameter on loop

Maybe you can find someone with the Fuji weight.

I should have posed that first sentence as a question. I was not trying to ridicule anyone. I was just surprised that no one knew how Fuji measured their guides. Once their wrapped its very difficult to tell the size and I thought maybe Fuji had published the dimensions. I'm contemplating using a mix of Recoils and Fuji Sic guides for my next build. I have not been a fan of the the recoils in past because they seem noisy, but the price difference and supposed increase in durability has made me interested to give them a try. I do appreciate the replies. Thanks, Andy

Here are the specs for a TYSG20.

Weight - 1.7g
Ring ID - 14.19mm
Ring OD - 18.38mm
Height - 44.2mm
Guide length - 28.5mm
Foot length - 16mm

FYI - All Fuji Titanium spinning guides weight a little more than the same size REC Recoil counterparts.
