How small is your rod and how light is your line? It's not about the size of your tackle, but how you work it. Come share your Ultralight and Bait Finesse System (BFS) fishing success here!

I'm deeply saddened and speechless - https://www.gofundme.com/f/memorial-for-craig-defronzo

Craig was an all around good guy. I've been trading tackle back and forth with him for years, had many discussions with him. Generous and always helpful with any info, plus he grew some of the meanest Ghost peppers I've ever eaten. I had sent him a tuned Daiwa SS700 knowing full well he was a diehard Shimano guy and joked that it was a wonder he didn't burst into flames upon touching it  He got the joke and more than reciprocated with boxes of jigs, baits and hair jig tying supplies. We had also traded various exotic hot sauces as well.

I'm going to miss you my friend, my thoughts are with your family now.

Mods - I posted here as this was the forum he posted the most in, feel free to move this to another area if you deem it appropriate.

Thank you for sharing this. I've chatted with him on RS over the years.

Life is short. RIP Craig.

Sick to hear this! Craig and I talked back and forth over the yrs. He bought a couple MajorCraft rods from me and I bought a few different rods from him. He knew I was a Daiwa guy and didn't hold it against me.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Sorry for you loss. The world needs all the good people it can get, so losing one is tough.
