Rod recs for some reels
I found two reels in my storage unit. And rather than sell them I'd rather scour the internet for new rods.
One is a shimano saros 1000 & a shimano sahara 750.
This is my spinning L/UL rod collection at the moment:
1) st croix premier UL 6ft 6
2) gloomis IMX UL 6ft 6
3) st croix panfish 6ft 9 UL
4) St croix legend extreme 7ft L
5) gloomis glx trout 7ft 2in L
6) browning midas 7ft UL
7) Daiwa presso AGS SMTT 6ft JDM model
So in the most first world problem query ever:
What UL/Ls should I add to the collection for these two little reels?
Thanks in advance,

Pretty good collection you have there already. If not for the other St. Croix rods, I would have suggested something in the Legend Elite Panfish line, but you've got your bases already pretty well covered with St. Croix stuff, and therefore it wouldn't be much of a different experience for the money.
I don't have any particular recommendations, but more JDM L/UL rods seem like the ticket for something significantly different than what you have, based on what I've researched on JDM L/UL rods. I'm sure Alphahawk and others will chime in with more detailed suggestions based on whatever budget you're working with.

I'd pick up an JDM ajing rod. You don't have one and while it is considered an UL rod it certainly will fish different than anything on your list. The Triple Cross from Major Craft would not cost a lot of money to try for your first ajing rod....for the money it is an outstanding rod.

Well The Soare ci4+ Ajing blows the N-One out of the water. I do not own the Soare ci4+ but my son has the N-One. The Shimano is just superior in every way.....as it should be with the price difference. You most surely will not be disappointed in the Shimano.alanmacias541 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 7:35 pmThanks for the recs!

On ebay the soare was nearly $300 and the other was just over $200.

I have no idea why I enjoy new high end gear so much but I sure do. I'm excited to try this new reel. Thinking I'll spool up with nanofil. What do yall think?
