Smallmouth are getting active

Post by UL Ace » Mon Apr 01, 2019 8:45 am

I think spring is finally making an appearance. Best fish from Saturday, caught 20 smallmouth and a couple crappie. Trapara 5'6 UL, Shimano Sahara with 3lb fireline. Lots of fun on that rod.

Nice! Still or moving water? Lures? What part of the country? Enquiring minds want to know.

Small Creek in Central Ohio. I was using a Lake Fork Live Baby Shad in bull bream on a 1/24 ounce ball head jig. Water temps in the high forties but heading in the right direction.
