If they released a swedish version of the 2501 I'd be on it in a heartbeat.

I love my 5501cs for deep cranks, big topwaters, and hard swimbaits. It's an excellent and classically old school alternative to Daiwa and Shimano's newfangled "round" reels. It's Swedish and comes stock with some nice performance upgrades and there are many fairly inexpensive things you can do to further improve casting. Check out Mike's Reel Repair and the YouTube channel PimpMyReel.
