Finesse Fishing.com

Anyone heard of this site? It's very informative and seems like a great US based source for BFS gear, along with all manner of UL tackle. I've never ordered from them, but I'm seriously considering the UL Tenryu Rayz casting rod. There's a cyber Monday sale going on right now.

I believe that site is run by our fellow TT member and UL enthusiast "CM_Stewart".

Just in case you're in need of a different way to catch fish, he has another site, tenkarabum.com, that is super informative. Lots of cool JDM gear. I'm planning to order a tenkara rod for some trips to the driftless area next year.

Great site. Ive ordered from there. Chris is great to answer questions. I suggest you pick up some single hooks for and lures you will throw. He got them at a good price. Way better to unkook fish and coming through cover. Good for the fish too

I've had one all summer but haven't used to yet. I'll try it out once they stock the trout ponds in a week or so.

Those of us who have been buying JDM gear I’m sure are aware of the Japanese sites.....blogs. I’ve been checking them out and using google translate for about 5 years. But it sure is nice to go to an English website that does have a lot of info that one can readily check out without having to do all of the searching.....translating. Plus....Chris’s site has introduced a lot of folks to JDM gear that never knew it existed, nor would have never known had it not been for his site. My YouTube channel is nothing more than a grain of sand as far as YouTube or the net goes. I started it to share what info I could to let folks know the gear is out there. I never expected that so many folks would start down the JDM road from watching my videos. The USA is woefully lacking info on what is undoubtedly the best UL tackle in the world. So I hope we see more sites like FF.com show up.

I’m pushing 70 and I’ll go to my grave wondering why more US anglers do not embrace UL fishing. I spent over 20 years fishing the Red Sea....Persian Gulf. I was fortunate to be able to catch all the big fish I ever thought about......snapper...cobia....GT’s.....but I have to tell you I was thrilled to get back home and chase bluegill....crappie. On visits to Kenya I would chase tilapia. For about 10 years now 95 percent of my fishing is with UL gear....really the last 5 years it has been 100 percent UL angling. Right now I’m trying to figure out why a made in Japan Olympic 2018 6’ 10” Corto....with titanium framed guides with Sic-S inserts..... weighing only 56 grams....can be delivered to my door for only around 220 bucks. But I’ve already hit the ‘buy” button so I guess I’ll find out when it gets here if it is the bargain I think it is.

I found the finessefishing.com site awhile back. A lot good information there and a decent inventory of rods, reels, UL and what I consider extreme UL gear. Bought a JDM rod and reel as well as some tackle there and was very impressed with the JDM gear. So much so that I bought several more rods and reels and tackle. Decent prices and great customer service. Got me hooked on JDM gear. This site as well as finessefishing.com are the only sites I know of that have current and up to date info on UL spin fishing and gear. Getting ready to retire in the very near future and plan on getting out there to use all this new stuff :D
