Ooooohhh ... me like

How small is your rod and how light is your line? It's not about the size of your tackle, but how you work it. Come share your Ultralight and Bait Finesse System (BFS) fishing success here!

Is it a single 'one knocker' type of rattle or multiples ?

What a coincidence. I was just researching these a couple of nights ago. Looks fantastic. Just wonder if trout will like them - both wild and stocked.

I don't see why not. I've gotten stockers on the bait at the very bottom of the picture - a Matzuo Nano Crank. It's roughly the same body dimensions and weight as the Z Viber

Check out Chris’s article on them at Finesse Fishimg. He’s catching trout on them.

Ever in search of single hook UL baits I was thrilled to discover the Z-Viber and ordered two. Had great success fishing for crappies in the snow on one of the only open water ponds I could find in northern NJ. Cast great on a Kuying Teton SUL spinning rod. Was able to perform various retrieves and figure out what the crappies wanted. Came home and ordered 8 more. Can't wait to try these on rivers and streams.

Chris, now you've really got me excited about this lure! How were you fishing it?

Those z-vibers did pretty well for me as well last year. I really love the eurotackle line of microfinesse soft plastics and have caught a lot of fish with them! When I was throwing the z-viber last year for trout they seemed to like quick rips followed by a pause. They would usually hit very aggressive!

Reasonably slow retrieve with slight pauses and pulses.

I need to get some of those, I see they are making 1/8 now as well. I kill bass on 1/8 rattle traps all the time

Ordered 3 after seeing this post. Should have got some more for my ice fishing bag, we'll see how they work out.
