Homemade Micro Spoons
Homemade Micro Spoons
I deiced to try to make some Homemade micro spoons. I went to a local tackle supply store that sells materials for making your own baits. They had different blades used for making spinner baits and inline spinners. I pick up some in size 4 and size 2. Drilled out second hole for split ring and hook. Added split ring and hook. I do not have a scale small enough to weighs these but I say they are in the .8g weight area. Will try to weigh them at work.

Hope you are planning to use a snap swivel. Those Colorado blades spin quickly and add a lot of line twist.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I was able to weigh these at work. The size 2 with split rings and hook weighed a little more than 0.92 grams. The size 4 weighed a little more than 1.3 grams. We will see how these do in the spring time. Things have cooled off here in Indiana and the panfish only want a slow presentation.
