Anybody try them ? Seems they've been out for a couple of years ,but I've not seen them in any stores I shop . I'm going to probably have to order a couple .
A 1 1/2" popping topwater bait . Should work for gills and LM bass .
I love topwater fishing .
At 1/8th oz , I could throw it on my UL casting outfit . Gillchaser

I bought a few patterns last month in the clearance bin at Ganders. Haven't tried them out yet, poppers do well here, these should as well.

Re: Rapala Ultra light Pop
I've ordered a couple . I'm looking for something in between a micro Pop R and their next size up , I think tiny Pop R .
I've looked at the Micro Pop R and the single hook didn't look right to me . I'm not sure it'd balance right or give a good hookup with bluegills .
I like the baby Hula Popper , but with its rubber tail , it's hard to get any distance out of it . Gillchaser

I have the 2'' 1/8 ounce Teeny Wee Pop R and a 2'' Megabass Baby Pop-X weighting 3/16 ounce. I've caught some gills on both but the hooks are a bit big. This Rapala popper sounds interesting.
