Shimano Spirex 500FA

Just bought a Shimano Spirex 500FA ultralight spinning reel at a neighbor's garage sale for $5.00. It looks to be in very good condition and I was told that it was used maybe 3 or 4 times. I cannot find any info on this reel except that Shimano made a couple larger light blue Spirex reels and these feature a rear drag adjustment and double handles, where the silver 500FA that I bought has the drag adjustment on the spool and has a regular single handle. Does anyone have this older reel and know how old it is? It says Malaysia on the inside of the handle and has a small sticker there that says.. Shimano XH-P
