Reel suggestions for a Shoreluck SLL-68ULS

Post by uffe38 » Mon Sep 26, 2016 10:19 pm

Hi all. I just received my new Megabass Shoreluck SLL-68ULS and it is a beauty!
I'm considering pairing it up with a new reel. A that good looking rod surely need a new reel.
I was looking at the new Certate 16 in the 1003-size... And have a few questions.
I'm a little hesitant switching to Daiwa as I'm a Shimano guy. And will the Certate be a upgrade campared to the Rarenium 1000 and Cardiff 2000 reels I have today?
Any suggestions for other reels? I plan to use FC 3-4 lb and use it for small cranks, spinners and the occasional fly-jig.

I think you should be good to go with your Rarenium.

The new Shimano Stradic Ci 4 is the best value for dollar I have seen... but I have not used a new Vanquish... but if it is a rod of lifetime, get a Stella or Exist
