ABU GARCIA CARDINAL 3RD NEW MINT RARE

This seems to be one of those Made in Japan 1000 unit short runs...though the foot still says Sweden...2015 release batch. Note the modern coloration.

Made in Sweden expressly for Japan distributor DS, note the DS sticker on the body. Very Nice. Mr. Ambassadeur had one of the special made for him editions on his auction page recently but in tan if I remember right. Just seems fit for a Ned Rig doesnt it?

Actually, I suspect that it's made in Japan, but they chose to use the original Swedish molds because of its replica status. Note that there is no serial number stamp on the foot. DS = DaySprout.

I too was under the understanding that these were made in Asia, with the permission of ABU.
