New UL Abu spinning reel

Post by Allsorts » Wed Sep 02, 2015 4:28 pm

Abu Revo STX2 size 10 - I was looking at a 20 size at a Trade Show (which is around a Shimano 2000 size) - the 10 could be a really interesting high-end but not stupid expensive UL spinning option. See http://www.abugarcia.com/abugarcia-reel ... ml#start=4. The same size is available with fewer bearings at lower prices.

I think that if one is thinking about going with an affordable Pflueger, spending just 20 bucks more on the Supreme model over the President Limited should be considered.

The smallest size would be a 25, but the spool capacity is similar.

Nice to get a magnesium reel, rather than one made of plastic...also, note that the President Ltd has an aluminum pinion.
