...that this is just about the only open forum on the web for ultralight fishing and tackle ?

There was a site a couple of years ago called Ultralitefishing.com, but it went under. As far as I can tell, this is about all that's left.

I'm not counting the trout dedicated sites.

There really isn't anything out there stand alone AFAIK...doing subject searches will sometimes take me places where a single thread touches upon UL.

Thanks for the headsup on such a cool site. I was reading up about how they use lines lighter than 2 lb test to really push the limits of UL!!! Real interesting stuff.

Actually ran across that site previously through an odd chain of events and was going to mention it here. Obviously just starting out and small...64 registered members.

But they do have UL and UUL subforums.
