Alright, let go back to Ultralight!

Seems like I haven't been doing any true UL fishing by myself in a while, but every now and then I get to take the girls out for some action :big grin:

Was the second fish a catfish? Looks like they had some fun.

That is what any fishing is supposed to be about, smiles all around.

Yeah, that's what it's about...priceless moments. My girls are now at the age where they no longer want to spend the day fishing with dad (except my youngest). Here's some trout strung on pine tree sprigs, from a small glacier lake up in the Rockies.

Hey thanks. That pic is several years old but I remember it like yesterday. Both kids were quite happy. The girl with the hat has quite a smile on but I had some trouble posting/uploading the pic so it doesn't show as well. The lake was quite remote, half a day ride on horseback. I recall we saw fairly fresh bear prints along the shore but didn't get to see any bears. Wish we could do that trip again. And that's what it's all about.

Hey 12yan, thanks for sharing the pics and starting this post! Sometimes I tend to take fishing too serious and it is moments like those depicted on this post that remind me what it really is about.

Haha, I'm glad you enjoy them. I love this stuff like crazy. I'm gonna take a trip to bass pro tomorrow with the girls and let them pick out a little rod combo each, since they destroyed the last ones
