Nice video. Can't wait for bass to open here! Will have to settle for pile fishing from my milk jug.

Lake Ontario is open, but bass, pike and walleye are out of season right now. Cottage country, Muskoka, is starting to see open water.

We have a pike tournament that is on May 2 in and around the Toronto Islands. Should be fun, but the water will be cold. Walleye opens the same weekend. Bass isn't open until the third week in June :crying:

Are you not allowed to fish during closed season or just not allowed to keep them?

Not allowed to fish for them. There are some specific baits that you would not be able to argue you weren't targeting specific species. Husky jerk for perch for example :lol:

That's interesting, maybe you can pass your bass fishing for finesse pike fishing.
