Glad to be of assistance my man, and she is a beauty! Now the real fun begins, as you figure out how you want to custom rig your craft :)....here's something Ive been thinking about, iNeed to get some measurements but I think it will probably fit- stand up bar off of an Old Town predator, help a sizeable fella stand and not capsize lol...http://www.headwaterskayak.com/Blog/old ... and-up-bar

Thanks for the heads up! I'm a pretty diminutive little bastard. I was a wrestler so I'm probably good  I can practically walk a tightrope. But I will need your help in picking out what I want to use to haul it around. I have a 6' foot bed on a Ford Ranger and just tied it in from the airport with using about 10 bungees and some rope. It worked but I'm trying to decide if I want to put some sort of a roof rack on my truck and haul it that way, or just get one of those extendable receiver hitches that runs out to the end of the boat and ties in that way :-k

PM me sometime. I also need to figure out which rod holders I want to add, what fish finder kit I need, fish finder (eventually), and other goodies.

I was surprised at how nice it looks in person it is a sweet ride. Only problem I had is my stickers won't stick to it...is this particular model a rougher texture on the hull than others? I've never had another yak.
I'm really glad you talked me into this one...I love it!

I will probably do 95% of my fishing standing. Always do in my old town canoe too

After even more research lol, it appears that, measurement wise, the best fit is Hobies H bar...think Im gonna get it, as well as a nH crate for the rear...nice accessories even if Im not fanatical about their boats...anyways, Friday has come and gone...so how was the maiden voyage?

I underestimated the amount of work I would have to do rigging the anchor pulley system and yak tracks. Only fished for a few hours before dark...skunked. But I got it out today, and got some slime in it. It's a blast! Loving it. I think I'm going to just get another zooka tube rod holder and ball mount for now. So I can haul three rods...I'm not sure I'll ever "need" more than three in the kayak.
I was shocked at how easy it rows, and adjusts in the water...coming from canoes. And this is supposedly one of the least mobile ones, more of a tank...man you kayak guys have it easy. I can pretty much haul ass in this thing.

if I fish in a big lake like 80-120 ft deep, is that safe to fish on a kayak?

I have a inflatable boat, but setup by myself sometimes is just hard, always want to try get a kayak, but I am not a good swimmer, what I understand is inflatable boat is much safer than a kayak, am I right?
