I don't blame you for early netting the Pike based on the gear you are using, but that was your ultimate downfall. :big grin:

Very true! That's why the big ones tend to cooperate a bit more because you have tired them out more by the time they reach the boat.

Fingers hooks and pike/musky/pickeral do not mix. I use a lip grip and pliers always.
