Fishing the Banana River

While we were on a vacation in Cocoa Beach, Florida Kerri and I wanted to get out on the water so we rented kayaks from A1A Beach Rentals and had them dropped off around the Thousand Islands area of the Banana River. We had a blast in that area. We caught mostly Speckled Trout and some larger Pinfish. I hooked into one Redfish on the flyrod but it snapped me off and missed the set on another. We also had a pod of Dolphins swim around us throughout the day, a Manatee try to cruise under my kayak, Pelican's who were interested in our catch, and even a crab sighting.
