Spinning Reels used while Kayaking

I've got a Stradic 2500 FH which I used when fishing freshwater bass. I hesitantly starting using it for salt on occasion and that went well for a while. Now that I fish salt a lot more i have noticed binding issues. After I hit the ocean I rinse the reel with the hose and let it air dry. I just added a few drops of yellow rocket fuel into the oil port hole, so we'll see if that solves the binding issue. If not I'll take it apart and see what the guts look like.

The Stradic has performed well, but if I buy a new reel it might be something geared more toward saltwater.
