Saddened to hear of the passing of a great man.

Will remember him with respect.

A real legend. Great family. He made me want learn to fish a tube bait when I was a kid. I'll fish the tube next time out in his honor.

One of my fishing heroes, when I was a kid. Still have a couple of packets of his Guido bug. He's in a better place.

I remember him as a little kid in the magazines and the conversations I would have with my dad (who is also passed) about him and other B.A.S.S. tournament guys. I believe he or his son Dion (I know they both won one each) won the classic using Daiwa SS Tournament 1300 reels. That was before many bass guys were using spinning tackle on a regular basis. They were part of that great era of earlier Team Daiwa guys. Hopefully this week they honor him at the Classic.
