What do you guys think about up coming Classic at Lake Guntersville?

Who is going to win?

Presentations and lure?

Especially that kinda cold winter what we have down here in the South. I think water temperature in low 40's right now.

I'm guessing lots of guys will be using jerkbaits, jigs, dropshots, and lipless cranks. I think it will be won on a jerkbait or lipless crank. Read a few fishing reports on guntersville just for the heck of it, and quite a few said lipless cranks were catching good fish.

Saw this on bassmaster's website. I guess this is kinda "cliche", but I think KVD has a good shot at winning. He is known for his cranking skills, and apparently Guntersville is great for cranks in the winter.

Heading that way early Saturday morning and leaving out on Monday afternoon ... Time permitting going to try and swing by the Tackle Trap for some goodies before coming home ...

Looks like this one will shake out to be a very intersting classic due to wether changes taking place leading into Sunday ...

No particular order my top 6 pics for Sunday :

Randall Tharp
KVD
A Mart
Chris Lane
David walker
Todd Faircloth

Lures:

Reaction: lipless or square bill
Pitching: jig or beaver style

Randy H. delivered the goods today when it counted the most. Very weird classic this year. You had top level guys failing and "no bodies" going to the last day. I think the weather really thru the proverbial curve ball into this classic. Well only 365 till the next one.
