Basstrix swimbait

Just got a pack of the basstrix rainbow trout 5 inch paddle tail hollow swimbaits from TW and they don’t seem to run right. I haven’t used them for years but I believe the older ones I used had a nice tail action. I tried them with an owner swim bait 5/0 hook and 1/8 oz weight and with a jighead inside them.
