The obvious answer is both, but I am looking to stick with one brand. OCD thing . I currently use the Cross-Tail Shad, but was wondering if anyone uses the Roboworm Alive Shad or FX Sculpins.

What are your opinions and if you had to pick one brand which would it be?

Most of my drop-shotting is in 25' or less and usually slightly stained water. I just switched from my tried and true Daiwa TD-X Drop Shot rod to an Irod Air. Going from a Daiwa Sol 2000 to a Tatula LT Sterling 3000. I will also be trying YGK G-Soul SS112 Sinking Braid in 16lb with a fluoro leader.

The Roboworm worm baits float, (after you get the salt off them in a few casts), but I'm not sure if their other plastics float. It's something to consider.

If I HAD to choose one, it would be roboworms. Most of my drop shot bites have come on roboworms; if they're not liking the straight tail worm I'll switch over to the alive shad and vice versa. I've tried those FX Sculpins and have gotten bites, but I've gotten more bites on the straight tail. I've heard good things about the cross tail shad, but haven't a chance to try them out.

I use both and generally catch more fish on the Alive Shad vs the Cross Tail. Of course, there are some days when the reverse is true, which is why I carry both.

Just the small Roboworms for me, too.

But, I have had great luck, at times, on small Keitech shad-like baits when fish seem to have different "supper plans."

Just a bit of "OCD processing" and you will carry out at least two plastics and feel okay about it!

Roboworms are my favorite drop shot baits. They are just more alluring and I have more confidence in them.

I do pretty good on both the 3" and 4" Alive Shad, you can also use the 4.5"ST (not FAT's) worm in Hologram shad for a good substitute. A bite turned off for me not long ago, so I switched to the shad colored thin (ST) Roboworm and it turned the fish right back on.

The Robo Sculpins are okay... Just don't see them comparing to the Alive Shad or the ST 4.5". My personal best dropshot fish was on a 6" Bold Bluegill Roboworm FAT on a 3/0 Owner Downshot, just don't get as many bites on the bigger sizes and/or Robo Fat's.

Out of the choices, I would go with the robo. Personally, I use the Reins bubbling shaker.

Jackall simply because they come with resealable bags lol. Seriously though, I'm a Jackall fanatic. I catch more fish on Jackall products than anything else.... By a large margin

Both brands have their standout products and it’s hard to have just one company. 4.5 inch straight tail and cross tail shad are money

I use robo, cheap in price and very effective

Roboworms, you can't beat the color selection.
But my personal favorites, are the Don Iovino plastics.

It's hard to beat an original Roboworm in Morning Dawn. I'll switch to a goby imitator if in fishing the great lakes though.

I'll put a vote in for Roboworms.. they just seem to catch me more fish than Jackall. Again, for me, in the lakes I fish.
