I wonder if the bobber stopper would move with a fish on??

Thoughts?
I might try it just to see, maybe tie a over hand knot directly below the bobber stopper.... :-k

Tried it once, failed miserably. Unless it is a tiny fish, bobber stops slide easily and miss the hookset. I even tried tying a knot below and it still would rip the bobber stop or slide and prevent hookset. I have an "invention" for dropshotting I have looked into presenting to a company, but cannot afford a patent and am scared someone will figure it out. (I like your way of thinking concerning this technique of upgrading the dropshot)
