Drop shot hooks +1

Post by BRONZEBACK32 » Fri Oct 20, 2017 8:11 pm

What is everyones favorite drop shot hook?

I been using Gamakatsu and Trokar in sizes 2,1 and 1/0

I wanted to give the mustad hooks a try and picked up some size 2 and got a free extreme finesse hook in package.

Hard to deviate from gamakatsu's as far as hooks in general, but Im getting equally fond of Trokars.

As for dropshot hooks, I go pretty big even with finesses worms: size 4/5

Gamakatzu dropshot size sizes 4,2,1 and their wide gap finesse for thicker baits.

My go to drop shot hook would be the Gamakatsu drop shot/split shot hook. I use sizes 1/0, 1, and 2.

Owner Mosquito in size 1 has served me very very well. I really like the VMC hooks too.
