Floating worms

Post by BRONZEBACK32 » Mon Aug 14, 2017 10:29 pm

We need a list of all floating worms.
For certain presentations like shakeyhead and Neko rig I prefer a floating worm, but most companys do not list them
as so.

Please list them.

Reins bubble shaker
Roboworm (once the salt wears off)
Strike king Elazatech
Z Man Elazatech (once salt wears off)
Z Man Floating worm

These are real floating worms, designed to float out of the bag, not simply when the salt wears off:

Johnson Super Floater
I think Barlows Tackle makes an in house floating worm
Davis Baits Floating worm
Gambler Floating worm

I don't know if the Netbait T-Mack floats completely but the tail does float. So it should work well for shakeyhead or neko.

I bought it as a replacement for fishing the reins bubbling shakers just because they are so expensive. I haven't done a same day comparison but so far it's been working well for me.

The Big Bite Baits Squirrel Tail worm and its BPS knock off, the Flicker Worm have a floating nub on the tail that helps to keep the bait upright on shakey head. The bps worm's nub is a litle bigger and wobbles as the worm falls when on a jig head. Great shakey head bait but not so much neko.
