modifying grubs

Does anyone cut grub tails to get a better action? I have seen a picture where someone had taken off the point of the tail and I've cut some twin tails to make trem look more like a wide set speed craw, haven't thrown it yet. What are some things I can do with my grubs? Thanks

I sometimes cut the tail a little shorter.
I do this when they are short striking and totally ripping out the tail.
Works everytime
