Wave Worms Platypus and similar baits

Post by TK_duluthbass » Sun Apr 23, 2017 12:11 pm

I can't find anymore Wave Worms' Platypus and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any other baits with the otter style tail. I know of Gambler's Ugly Otter, Net Bait's Big Thumper, and LFT's Hyper Freak and Hyper Worm. I know there was a Big Bite Baits endorsed by Dean Rojas that was, from my memory, identical to the Platypus. I like the Platypus the best because it's very durable and its slender senko style body is perfect to thread on a jig, which is my primary use.

Wave Worm platypus is discontinued . I bought 20 packs watermelon black flake from Tacklewarehouse for 97 cents about a year and a half ago. Good bait! Dont know about the Big Bite Baits model.
