Keitech FAT's storage
Keitech FAT's storage
How do you store the Keitech Swing Impact FAT plastics? The package they come in take alot of space. I guess you can take them out and store them in a Bass Mafia Bait Casket for example. But will they loose their Squid Scent if you don't keep them in the original package?

Re: Keitech FAT's storage
I keep mine in orginal packaging - keeps the tails nice. I wouldn't be worried about them loosing scent, I always put some scent on when rigging any soft plastic.
Re: Keitech FAT's storage
original packing also....these baits work so well pretty hard to keep them for very long....
Re: Keitech FAT's storage
Scent eventually (over two years or so) disappears anyway, even in original, never been opened package.

So, what do you store your original packages in? Plastic bags?

I dump them all into a plano 3700. I've been doing it for years and never really had any issues.

yup, plastic grocery bags for all my soft plastics..one for the keitechs and other for senkos and keitech frogs...
Re: Keitech FAT's storage
I'm thinking of putting the smaller packages (often the shorter softbaits) in a tackle box and the bigger packages that have hard plastic to protect the softbaits in a plastic bags.
Re: Keitech FAT's storage
I leave them in the original package and store them in a gallon zip lock bags. They do take up a lot of space but my boat has plenty of room so for me, it's not a factor.

How about original pkg but eliminate the insert.
