Re: Your top 3 soft plastics
Primarily going for walleye, I'd have to say:
4.5" Roboworm
3.5" Z-Man Trick ShotZ (smallies also love these)
Z-Man Finesse ShadZ
Runners up include Z-Man TRD CrawZ and TRD HogZ, as well as 3" Lunkerhunt Leeches.
For panfish I haven't really found my stride with plastics yet. Partially due to not finding/hitting the bite right in general, as my dad and buddies still mostly use live bait (leeches and crawler chunks), and they haven't had much better luck this summer. The Lunkerhunt leeches did decently, as did Gulp pinched crawlers. They really seem to like Z-Man TRD HogZ, but they don't get to the hook effectively enough due to the size of the bait for a solid hookup ratio. I thought Bobby Garland baby shads were gonna be my golden ticket, but they've kinda been a bit of a flop.

Re: Your top 3 soft plastics
I really love a 4 inch gulp minnow for finicky walleye.I grinded 6 hours straight today in the cold canadian weather and caught 6 eyes and 5 were on the gulp minnow just snapping the bait and letting the current keep tension on my line.
