Yamato shad shape worm?
Yamato shad shape worm?
Hello,
I am kind of confused on which is the top and bottom when it comes to these baits?
On TW these baits are actually pictured in a manor which would actually be upside down from how I rig them when drop shotting.
However after looking at the shape of them maybe it was I who has been riggin them upside down.
Anyone know which is the actual right way?
Thanks
I mean I have caught plenty of fish the way I rig them but it would still be good to know.

they are designed to be fished flat side up, like you see on the TW website.

Yep, flat side up, like the shape of a fish.
Re: Yamato shad shape worm?
don't bother, like the senko, they don't catch fish, but the 1 or 2,000 times i've fished them I've rigged them flat side up
Re: Yamato shad shape worm?
Texpos it flat side up..try it as a jerkbait..best damn jerkbait ever...youll be amazed at the action of the shad shape..I use 3/0 Mustad big mouth tube hooks..gives it some weight and really good action!! Pearl silver hologram flake is the best..TW doesnt sale this color..i get it local here!

If you dig the shad shape worm check out the Gambler Shakey Shad also. They're cheaper and are quite effective.
