What are your favorite plastic worms for T-rigs?

It's been years since I've really focused on T-rigged worms. Back in the day I used Rat Tails and others. (can't remember it's been so long..) Now I just mainly use wacky rigged Senkos, but I'd like to get back to some good ol' Texas rigged worming.

I did some internet research and I was a little surprised to read all of the success with 10" worms! I used to throw 5" and 6" and thought that 7" worms were a little big. :D Feel like a little like Rip Van Winkle. 8-)

Muskyhunter, Senkos seem to be the rage. :)

Zoom Ole Monster, Culprit Original, Charlie's Worms, and Berkley Powerworms Ribbontail have all been my favorites at one time or another. . My biggest criticism of old school plastic worms is that some designs twist line more than others. I like rigging with the ribbontail pointed down(others may disagree). I like to use a bobber stop placed loosely above my bullet sinker(half a cm or so). This allows the sinker to slide downward a bit and the line will twist less than if the sinker is pegged tightly to the worm. If the water temp is over 68 in Tennessee I have a ten inch plastic worm rigged on at least one rod, night or day.

Senkos weightless won't twist line. When using a weight, a paddle-tail worm is said to reduce line twist.

I read that you should rig a ribbon-tail with the tail up?

Tail up or tail down. Both ways catch fish. It is a matter of personal preference. I just feel with the worms that I use rigging the tail down reduces line twist.

Lake Fork Baby Ring Fry works at every lake I fish. Hands down my favorite. I also like the Berkley Chiggar Craw, especially around rock.

I fished Tequila Sunrise powerworms on the back half of a hopeless tourney afternoon last week, and had a blast.
I hadn't fished a Tex worm in years. So much fun setting a Tex rig with with a lighter rod, reel down and set for the fences instead of suckerpunching like a flipping jig. Riot.
Set hard and set often
